| Bio: | "I tell locke he is, but really you're my favourite cat"--Luna If you can't tell, I'm a girl, and a fairly nerdy one, at that. I finally got out of Waterbury, Connecticut. For most of my life, I wanted to attend art school, maybe become a comic book artist, video game artist, or a fashion designer; a particularly bad few months in my personal life, followed by a stint at a summer program at the Rhode Island School of Design bred that out of me when I was seventeen. I have also at times considered being an historian, an archaeologist, an English and history teacher, or a social worker. I have had a secret wish to be a musician for years, yet have never taken initiative or put effort into said dream beyond a little singing in private and recorded on tapes that I destroyed to prevent my anyone from listening to them, and a few pathetic stabs at learning instruments (guitar and bass at the moment). I have a burning desire to learn to play the cello. I am currently shooting to be a fairy princess, which I believe to be the most realistic of my career aspirations at this point (or an audio engineer, whatever). I come off as sounding sarcastic most of the time when I write. I find this to be a problem. I would like to start a record label someday. Hell, I'd love to open up a store and sell clothing and accessories, too. I'm hoping that the fact that I have no cut-throat business instinct will not put a damper on this. I would also like to have a farm in Ireland. With sheep and cows (to frolic, not for business purposes). I consider my political leanings to be "moderately cynical." 99% of the politicians in this country are at the mercy of special interest groups. I am an Audio/Radio major (political communication and history minors) at Emerson College in Boston. I work at WECB 99.9 FM as well as at WERS 88.9 FM. | |||||
